The 2008 Harbor and Seafood Festival will be on August 30, 2008.  Save the date!

The 2007 Harbor and Seafood Festival was truly a Don't You Dare Miss It event!  Please take a moment to thank Cassie Henderson, Kelley Litle, and all the other hard working volunteers for their efforts to make this our most successful Festival yet.  The food was great and was freshly caught and cooked by our local fishermen.  The Redwood Coast Fire District Volunteers served up a delicious abalone chowder.  Proceeds from the event will help fund improvements to the Pier and also benefited the Fire Department Volunteers, Action Network, and other community organizations.   Thanks to Everyone who came out to enjoy this family affair.  We appreciate your support.  Visit http://www.harborfest.net for more info.

Kick off summer 2008 on the coast with the Lamb and Pig Barbeque, held at the VFW Hall during Memorial Day weekend.  Support our local Firefighters and First Responders, and catch up with your friends and neighbors while enjoying a good old fashioned family barbeque.

Mark your calendar to save July 4th, 5th and 6th, 2008 for the Point Arena Centennial Birthday Party and Independence Day celebration.  This party is guaranteed to light up your 4th of July weekend.  Be sure to come downtown for the parade and street fair and stay to enjoy the best fireworks on the coast.  Come back soon to see our Centennial calendar of events.
