Kick off summer 2009 on the coast with the Lamb and Pig Barbeque, held at the VFW Hall during Memorial Day weekend.  There will be a dance on Saturday night to whet your appetite for the BBQ on Sunday.  Support our local Firefighters and First Responders, and catch up with your friends and neighbors while enjoying a good old fashioned family barbeque.

Mark your calendar to save July 4th weekend for the Point Arena Independence Day celebration.  The Street Fair and Fireworks will be on Friday, July 3rd and the parade and Acorn Family Picnic will be on Saturday the 4th.  The Point Arena Independent Revue will happen again this year at the theater on Thursday, July 2nd, so start planning your act.  This party is guaranteed to light up your 4th of July weekend.  Be sure to come to the Pier for the street fair on Friday followed by the most exciting fireworks on the coast at sunset.  Saturday is the Big Parade.  Be There or Be Square!

The 2009 Harbor and Seafood Festival will be held on September 5.  Come to the Pier to enjoy freshly caught and prepared fish, abalone chowder, and other delicacies.  Try a sip of Point Arena Pale Ale, specially brewed for Point Arena by the Ukiah Valley Brewery.  The money we raise is used to keep the pier open to the public.
