CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE RESOLUTION (2011-07) OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POINT ARENA TO ADOPTED A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF STATE LAW, TITLE 2, DIVISION 6, CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS, REGULATIONS OF THE FAIR POLITICAL PRACTICES COMMISSION (FPPC); WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Point Arena has not formerly adopted a Conflict of Interest Code in accordance with the requirements of State Law, Title 2, Division 6, California Code of Regulations, Regulations of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC); and WHEREAS, the City Council is charged with reviewing the Conflict of Interest Code, adopting amendments and verifying the List of Designated Positions to which the Code applies; and WHEREAS, the City Council has created said Conflict of Interest Code consistent with FPPC regulations and specify said employees in EXHIBIT “A” Designated Employees and Disclosure Obligations for the City of Point Arena WHEREAS, further consistent with FPPC regulations, it is the desire of the City Council to incorporate by reference the terms of Title 2, Section 18730 of the California Code of Regulations in EXHIBIT “B”; and. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Point Arena does hereby reaffirm Title 2, Section 18730 of the California Code of Regulations and hereby attaches Exhibit “A” Designated Employees and Disclosure Obligations for the City of Point Arena, and Exhibit ”B” Title 2, Section 18730 of the California Code of Regulations.
